The Solen CV20-N is one of the few tube amplifiers that incorporate a DAC and have digital inputs.
The CV20-N is the result of many years of experience and above all this amplifier was created for the pleasure of its designer.
On a hyper-transparent and linear basis, the circuit parameters have been adjusted to match the desired presence with the fineness of reproduction. It is the best present representative of the Solen soul, those who share that spirit will find themselves in that expression.
Without worrying about commercial constraints, the CV20-N is powered by a push-pull of EL84 tubes, whose reputation is no longer to be made. Thanks to the “Circlotron” structure of the entire Solen range of amplifiers, the EL84 delivers impressive bass and dynamics comparable to those of much more powerful amplifiers.
The tube section is supported by the integrated DAC entirely developed by Solen, with current-voltage conversion and audio transformer filtering for a very "natural" sound.
This integrated, digital tube amp achieves a compact performance: it is housed in a 44 x 29 x 7 cm case.
Finally, this amplifier of emotion regains its colour. Like the Tigres B50 produced by Solen in the 80s, it is entirely made of coloured anodised aluminium.
